Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Release– Protecting Wild Neighbors

NAR recieves calls about distressed animals and promptly gets to work! Their expert rehabilitates are ready for anything, with the blessing of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Working closely with veterinarians, their trained staff and volunteers act as first responders, determining the best course of action for injured wildlife. By keeping diligent records, they have become an expert on local migration, breeding and habitat needs of local fauna.

Anyone who finds a distressed wild animal in Santa Cruz County can bring the animal to us at 1855 17th Ave., Santa Cruz, where we receive animals between 8 am and 8 pm OR call 831-462-0726 to speak to a helpful volunteer.
